PACKAGE COST EXCLUDES
- 5% GST on the Total Tour Cost (including tips and any optional tour) which is payable at Kolkata by Indian Currency only in favor of Go Everywhere Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd.
- 5% T.C.S is applicable on total foreign exchange part (including GST) as and when applicable up to date of travel only in favor of Go Everywhere Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd., which will be adjusted with your income tax return.
- Expenses and services of personal nature – telephone calls, mineral water, any meals not forming a part of the group itinerary menu, room services orders, mini bar & beverages (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), snacks or refreshments or any other usage, laundry, personal entertainment expenses except for mentioned itinerary items, extra conveyance expenses, if any, entrance charges except for the mentioned itinerary items, any other incidental or medical expenses etc.

Day 1: KOLKATA TO YANGON BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
Greetings from GO everywhere Holidays!! We gladly introduce ourselves as the one stop provider for all your travel needs and requirements. Your presence at the Netaji Subhash International airport 3 hours prior to the departure is mandatory. Our experienced tour manager will meet you there. Your luggage will be tagged till Yangon. Our flight will depart at 1130 hrs. & we will reach Yangon at 1430 hrs. Welcome to Myanmar! On arrival, we will complete all immigration formalities & board our luxury coach. Our first stop is unforgettable Shwedagon Pagoda the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar to view the sunset, for the best view of the pagoda. Afterwards, we will have dinner at local restaurant for Indian or local food. Take the transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2: YANGON – BAGO – YANGON BREAKFAST ON BOARD– LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, we head to the north. We will visit Bago, also known as Pegu, which was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century and is a town steeped in legend. Our sightseeing covers the famous Shwethalyaung Buddha, which has a length of 55 metres and a height of 16 metres, this amazing sculpture is believed to have been built in 994, during the reign of Mon King Migadepa, we will admire the “pillow” and learn about its history. Then we will move to the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun from the 7th Century, this colossal statue of 4 Buddha: Kakusandha, Konagamana, Kassapa, and Gautama) seating in four positions is waiting to be discovered. We will contemplate and learn more about the culture and the origin of it. We will head to a local restaurant to have lunch. Then we will move to the old palace of Kanbawzathadi, although it is a reconstruction the original was built for King Bayinnaung in 1556. Before leaving Bago we will stop in the Mon-style Shwemawdaw Pagoda which is the most outstanding religious monument in Bago. This golden temple stands at 114 metres tall, higher than Yangon’s Shwedagon Pagoda, and can be seen from around 10 kilometres outside of the city. After that we will visit to Bago Market, it is definitely worth a stop, even if you are not going to buy anything as walking through… On our way back to Yangon we will stop in the Second World War Graveyard, where we can pay respect and learn about the battles fought. At last, we will have delicious dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to Yangon and overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: YANGON – BAGAN BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel & transfer to the airport for our domestic flight to World Heritage Site – Bagan, the most extensive archaeological site in Asia, where you will spend the day exploring a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples. Our first visit Shwezigon Pagoda, the graceful bell shape of this pagoda became a prototype for virtually all later pagodas all over Myanmar. We will enjoy our lunch in a local restaurant. Then visit Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, the 13th-century cave temple in Indian style. Ananda Patho: one of the finest, best preserved and most revered of the Bagan temples. After lunch we will enjoy Manuha Temple: It was built in 1059 by King Manuha, the King of Thaton, who was brought captive to Bagan. In the late afternoon, we will watch the sunset from the plains nearby one of the pagodas. Then, we will have the delicious traditional food at local restaurant while witnessing Puppet Show. Take the transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 4: BAGAN BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast we will keep on exploring Bagan, we will head towards Myinkaba Village. Here, the techniques used for many generations remain in the present with the painstaking process of lacquer ware making and decoration. Close to the village we visit another two remarkable temples in the history of Bagan. Sulamani Pahto: its brickwork throughout is considered some of the best in Bagan and Dhammayangyi Pahto: it is said that king Narathu built the temple to redeem his sins: he smothered his father and brother to dead and executed one of his wives for practicing Hindu rituals. After having lunch in a local restaurant, we will visit Minnanthu village, where we will learn about local people daily activities and customs. We will end up the day enjoying a boat outing in the Ayeyarwaddy River. Then, we will have the Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: BAGAN – MANDALAY BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast we will taka transfer to the airport, on arrival we will start our visit to Mandalay, our first visit will be Mandalay palace. We will continue onto Shwenandaw monastery, of great interest as a fine example of traditional Burmese wooden monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda, home to 729 marble stone slabs inscribed with Buddhist scripture, which have earned the title of the world’s biggest book, before leaving the area we will go Atumashi Kyaung. Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch we will discover Mahamuni Paya, whose Buddha image is one of the countries most revered. Next we will visit some of the artisan workshop’s Mandalay is well known for, we will observe skill craftsmen at work producing wood carvings, gold-leaves, tapestries, where techniques remain unchanged from centuries ago. This evening, enjoy a commanding overview of the city from the Mandalay Hill, where you can see an impressive overview of the city and reflect on your day of discovery before returning to your hotel. Then, we will have Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: MANDALAY – SAGAIN – AMARAPURA – MANDALAY BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, our guide and car will pick us up at hotel and we will visit Sagaing, once an ancient capital. The Sagaing Hills, a famous religious retreat for Buddhists, are dotted with pagodas & there are over 500 monasteries, a retreat for some 6000 monks & nuns. After that, visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda and you will have delicious lunch at one of the best local restaurants. Later on, you will move forward to Kaung Hmudaw Pagoda – which is a copy of the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lanka & Ywahtaung: home of the silversmiths’ guilds. Next visit another old Royal capital, Amarapura for famous U Bein wooden bridge across the Taungthaman Lake & traditional silk & cotton weaving workshops. Enjoy the sunset at Taungthaman Lake. Return back to Mandalay. Then, we will have Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: MANDALAY – INLE LAKE BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, you will transfer to Mandalay Airport for your flight to Heho, Inle Lake. On arrival you will be met and driven towards Inle. During your journey we will enjoy the beauty of this part of Myanmar. The mixture of mountains, field crops, makes a colorful landscape. Arriving at Inle Lake you will behold the sight of the Intha fishermen and their unique one-legged rowing styles as you cruise past the local villages on a private motorboat. The lake’s shore and islands bear 17 villages on stilts, mostly inhabited by the Intha people. After lunch, we will visit Nga Phe Chaung Monastery a simple but very beautiful temple on the shores of the lake, and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the most famous pagodas in Myanmar. We will have the dinner at hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 8: INLE LAKE – INDAIN – INLE LAKE BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, set off to see another aspect of this wonderful area. Travel by long-tailed boat across the lake to Indein, at the western end of Inle, for one of the most scenic trips on the Lake. Passing through the busy village of Ywama, the largest on the Lake, with many channels and tall teak houses on stilts; enter a long, often tree-lined canal, either side of which farmers cultivate their land against the backdrop of the Shan Hills. Disembark at the jetty and walk for 15 minutes through Indaing village to reach the 14th – 18th century pagoda ruins of Nyaung Ohak. Many pagodas here remain charmingly unrenovated, with plants and even small trees growing out of them, making the area very atmospheric. A covered walkway popular with souvenir stallholders leads up to Shwe Inn Thein Paya, a complex of weather-beaten 17th – 18th century zedi; some newly reconstructed. Returning to the river and continue by boat downstream past Yethar village, watching local life on the banks and birds in the trees until rejoining the Lake near Phaung Daw Oo Paya. You will have the lunch at a local restaurant. You will return to your hotel to enjoy an afternoon at leisure. We will have the dinner at hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 9: INLE LAKE – YANGON – KOLKATA BREAKFAST
After early breakfast, check out from the hotel, transfer to Heho airport and take the flight to Yangon. On arrival, take the outward flight to Kolkata. Complete the immigration process before you can leave the airport. We will see you again on our next tour….!!
